BLACK WIDOW RAPTOR

Mustad 3906B, #4/0 |
Thread: |
Gudebrod 3/0, black |
Body: |
Estaz,
black-red-black |
Back hackle: |
Hebert Miner hen,
black |
Bottom hackle: |

saddle, black |
Head: |
Ram's Wool, black |
Eyes: |
Dolls Eyes, 7mm oval |
This was my own version of
Richard Komar's Raptor. The pointy head with the oval eyes angled
does give it a mean look. So with eight "legs" and those body
colors, the name is a given. But however mean you can make it on a
#4/0 hook, it will still remain rather humble lying beside Richard's
original... on a #12/0 shark hook. |
